
Joint Base Lewis McChord vet clinic provided me with hands-on experience with animals while also broadening my skills in animal anesthesia as an army vet tech. This experience is invaluable for my goal of becoming a human anesthesiologist, as it laid a foundation in understanding anesthesia principles. Armed with this practical knowledge now and collaborating with multiple veterinarians in this setting, I am better positioned to pursue advanced training in human anesthesia, bridging my veterinary experience with human medical practices.

218TH MDVSS my last army unit presented me with this plaque. It’s a very sensitive piece of my career because they instilled discipline, leadership skills, and a strong sense of camaraderie as my first unit into the military. These qualities are essential for my development both personally and as a future officer, enhancing my ability to lead and work as part of a team. I’m now better prepared to take on leadership roles and make impactful decisions in my future career in the army, thanks to these experiences and skills.

Vaccinating more than 3,000 patients alone I received multiple army coins for my contributions during the COVID mission (COVAX) recognized my efforts and dedication. This recognition not only boosted my morale and confidence but also affirmed my commitment to service and leadership. As a future officer in the army striving to become an anesthesiologist, this experience inspires me to uphold high standards of excellence and integrity in my career.
