I am a 20 year old Senior, but get this, I am a Senior in college. You are probably wondering how that is even possible. With a mindset and determination like mine, my competitive nature is always up for a challenge. From a young age, I have always been involved in sports. Playing five sports in high school was not enough for me, as my academics have always been important as well. At the age of 16, I started working towards my Associate’s Degree which I soon earned two years later the day before I graduated high school. How can someone accomplish such goals like these? Three words: faith, work-ethic, and perseverance. I hope you are now intrigued because we are just getting started.
As you get to know me throughout my website, I hope you feel inspired in any way possible. My characteristics solely focus on compassion and charisma as I enjoy being a positive impact in peoples’ lives. Because of this, I have chosen to follow a career path focused towards helping athletes. My interests in becoming an Athletic Trainer for the NBA or NFL, did not merely come from my passion for sports, but also from the interactions and experiences that I endured during my six months of recovery at physical therapy due to a devastating knee surgery. This adversity challenged me as a person, and I am grateful for it as I learned more about myself during that down time. From the outside looking in, it may have seemed that all odds were against me at the time, but with my unchanging faith in God, He guided me through it all.
Currently, I am wrapping up my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science which I will soon use to accomplish my Master’s in Athletic Training. Amongst my rigorous degree, I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Black Students Association (BSA), National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Students Advocating Stronger Sisterhood (SASS), and I work a part-time job at the Donald W. Reynolds Boys and Girls Club through School Kids Connections (SKC). I love to stay busy, and being able to multitask has developed my time management skills. With being involved in various organizations, my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills have blossomed as well. Since moving to Fayetteville, and starting my collegiate journey, I have dedicated myself to everything that I am involved in with hopes of being impactful in any way possible. As you are nearing the end of my “About Me” section, I hope that I have impacted you in some way too.

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
