Featured work is where you will put your artifacts. An artifact is proof of what you know. It is proof that something happened. You will show your proof in the form of a graphic and then you will write about it using the “what, so what, now what” model of reflection.
The easiest way to use this template is to replace the existing content with your content.
Gardening Project: Growing Professional Skills

Gardening is one area where I excel. Reverse planting is the process I used to dig up my mom’s flowers. It takes digging prowess and determination to remove all the plants and not leave any behind. This shows that I am not afraid to get dirty to get the job done. I take pride in always doing my best work. When it comes to reverse planting, I completely remove the plants, leaving nothing behind. In the future, I plan to use the skills that I learned to help friends and neighbors thin out their overfilled flower beds.
Pro Tips: Headings and Photos
Write creative headings that make us want to know more. Use buzzwords like “leadership,” “professional”
A clear, interesting photo creates engagement. Prove your story by showing powerful visuals.
Volunteering Matters: Serving My Community

Volunteering to help people is something that matters greatly to me. I dedicate my time in the service to others less fortunate. I help my mom get her exercise, by making her take me for walks. I give freely of my extra hair, to help out those who are less fortunate. The work that I do makes a difference in the lives of many people. I feel like serving is a good use of my skills and talents. I hope to take my skills to the University campus to provide distraction and comfort to college students who could use a friend.
