Communication Skill: Winning Other’s Over
Woo means winning others over. I have a strong sense of empathy so it helps me to understand where others are coming from and that helps me to know how to communicate according to what they need. Sometimes humans need to play and sometimes they just need a friend who can cuddle. I read the situation and adapt and in that way, I win them over. My strongest skill is interpersonal communication.
Teamwork: The Key to Success
Teamwork is key when engaging in the fine-tuned sport of snowball catching. The thrower and the catcher must trust each other to do their part.
I am proud of this award-winning catch because it represents hours of practice of working together as a team. Timing is everything and to get that level of timing, you have to know and trust your teammate. Now that I have had this valuable experience, I plan to remember that teamwork is one part communication, one part time together, and one part trust. It looks like something that I am doing on my own, but really it takes a lot of teamwork.
