Chancellor’s List: Hard Work and Determination on the Path to Success
Coming into college, I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but I knew one thing for sure: to live the life I dreamed of, I would have to work hard and stay committed. I was honored to qualify for the Chancellor’s List, a prestigious recognition awarded to students who achieve a 4.00 GPA for the semester while completing at least 12 credit hours.
As a full-time student taking over 12 credit hours, graduating a year and a half early, running my own business, and holding down two jobs outside of college, making the Chancellor’s List was a goal that required unwavering perseverance and determination. Balancing a demanding academic load with multiple responsibilities has taught me that I am fully capable of achieving anything I set my mind to, no matter how challenging.
This busy lifestyle has given me valuable life skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time effectively, maintain work-life balance, and approach challenges with dedication and resilience. Being on the Chancellor’s List is more than an academic achievement—it’s a testament to my commitment to hard work, my resilience in overcoming obstacles, and my determination to succeed in every goal I pursue.

As someone with a phone full of captured memories and a heart driven by passion, I turned my love for photography into a professional venture that has taught me valuable life skills and given me unique connections to others. From this passion for photography grew a desire and consistent dedication to establish my own freelance photography business, which I have built from the ground up with perseverance and hard work
Starting a business is not something that comes naturally. It required countless hours of commitment, learning, and problem solving. I invested time into creating a positive beans where clients feel welcomes and confident in trusting me to capture life’s most special moments. To ensure a professional experience, I educated myself extensively in programs like Adobe Lightroom, mastered my Canon equipment, and utilized platforms like pixiset to design a sleek and accessible website. I developed a client-focused approach, striving to makes each interaction a unique and unforgettable experience.
Through this journey, I have gain experiences and skills I could not have gotten elsewhere. The challenges I have faced and overcome have strengthened my dedication, making me realize that with determination and a clear vision, I can achieve anything I set my mind to. Leaping into this venture and giving it my all has taught me skills and insights I could never have gained otherwise, fueling both my personal and professional growth in ways I hadn’t imagined.

With each unforgettable moment brought to me by the last 12 years of cheer, I knew I wanted a way to capture and hold onto these cherished memories forever. In order to preserve them in a way that would last a lifetime, I turned to the lens of my camera. Growing up in the sport of cheerleading taught me the value of holding onto these moments, and my passion for filming gave me the perfect way to do it. I decided to combine both by creating a YouTube channel where I could document my cheer journey and relive everything I have had the privilege of experiencing.
Starting a YouTube channel to capture my life in cheerleading not only allowed me to hold onto these memories but it also unlocked new creative skills and perspectives. Working in front of and behind the camera has taught me the details of video editing, storytelling, and managing a platform.. Through this journey, I developed essential skills in social media, marketing, editing, communication, time management, and most importantly creativity.
What began as a fun project quickly became a meaningful experience, deepening my love for content creation and everything related to social media and marketing. Documenting such a significant part of my life taught me not only the technical aspects of YouTube and editing but also allowed me to explore new ways of expressing myself and sharing my story. Through this opportunity, I discovered and embraced the creativity that was always within me, allowing it to flourish and bring my memories to life in ways I never imagined.
