Starting something new does not come easy but requires both commitment and a deep sense of consistency and prioritization. When I launched my freelance photography business, I knew success would only come through hard work and perseverance. With a passion for capturing special moments through a camera, I decided to turn that love and passion into a professional venture, approaching each project or session as an opportunity to grow and showcase my commitment to professionalism. I dedicated countless hours to start and succeed in this new adventure. Every interaction with clients became an opportunity to present myself with professionalism, demonstrate dependability, and act equitably with integrity and accountability to not only myself but each of these clients. I had to be consistent to exceed my goals and expectations as well as create a positive personal brand. 

Building this business has been about more than the joy and love for being behind the camera and the creative freedom–it required persistence, dedication, and determination to creating a trustworthy brand and an atmosphere where others can come and feel appreciated, loved, and beautiful. It is this dedication that not only allows me to meet their needs but exceed them. This has taught me a level of dedication and professionalism like no other. Through this journey, I’ve learned that true success comes from hard work, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence–qualities I am eager to bring to every future opportunity. Interning has not only solidified my commitment to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives, but it has also equipped me with the confidence and skills to become an impactful leader. My internships have been pivotal in shaping my career path, giving me the opportunity to develop both my leadership and marketing skills while deepening my commitment to creating positive change. In doing so, I’ve embraced lifelong learning, continuously expanding my knowledge and expertise as I grow both personally and professionally.

Through my internship at an elementary school, I worked closely with the school counselor to create a safe, supportive environment for students and their families, providing emotional and physical support when needed. I also designed marketing materials—posters and promotional videos—to enhance engagement for school and town-wide events, effectively showcasing the school’s mission and values.

Currently, as a Junior Content Manager at Paradox Retail Agency, I collaborate closely with the Creative Director to develop, schedule, and optimize content across key social media platforms. I actively contribute to content planning and campaign strategy, ensuring that each piece aligns with the brand’s voice and goals. Working alongside the Growth team, I help create compelling sales tools, case studies, and educational content that not only drive engagement but also support the agency’s overall objectives. This role has allowed me to leverage my creativity and attention to detail, while honing my ability to craft content that resonates with audiences and shapes a brand’s presence in the digital landscape. Through this experience, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of how strategic content creation can build stronger connections and drive tangible business outcomes.

Both experiences have taught me that professional success and personal growth go hand in hand. They’ve empowered me to combine my passion for supporting others with my skills in marketing and content creation—allowing me to foster meaningful connections and lead with empathy, resilience, and purpose.
